About Us
Hi, I am Melissa La Fleur, owner, creator, esthetician, artist, and master sculptor of Ella Bardo, and Ella Bardo Esthetics & Wellness.
Many people ask me, "Where does the name Ella Bardo Come from?" Growing up in the midwest was challenging with the last name La Fleur. Most people have difficulty pronouncing it, let alone spelling it. So I decided to come up with an artist name, a brand name, that was easy to spell, remember, and fit me and my brand's mission, to help people transform their bodies, faces, minds, and places. One day I was reading the book, 'Living & Dying Consciously,' by The Dalai Lama. This is where I learned of the word, BARDO, meaning the dream like state from which we transform. My mind jumped back to a time when I had stayed with some Greek friends of mine, who would always call to me, "Ella, Ella, Ella.." which means, "Come here." Then boom, came together, Ella Bardo. Come Here and Be Transformed.
